On the morning of December 11th, Meng Xianjun, Minister of Medical Work of the Party Committee of Jinan University; Chen Guobin, Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences and Public Health; Chang Wei, Party Committee Secretary of School of Stomatology, and others came to our university's medical department for research. Liu Yu, Executive Director of the Medical Department; Wang Qianyong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Ye Meng, Deputy Director, and others received the research team.

At the meeting, Liu Yu, on behalf of the Medical Department, welcomed Meng Xianjun and his team and introduced in detail the situation of the Medical Department from aspects such as development history, talent cultivation, teaching and research, and development planning. Meng Xianjun introduced the basic situation of Jinan University's Medical Department and its five colleges. Both sides carried out in-depth exchanges around the responsibilities and powers of the Medical Department, the management system and mechanism between the Medical Department and affiliated hospitals, the construction of medical party building brands, the talent cultivation model and career development of undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine, and the development of clinical medicine disciplines.
