Recently, the China Scholarship Council released the "Notice on the Determination of the 2025 Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Project Funding Projects" (Liu Jin Mei [2024] No. 36). The "High-Level Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Project for Clinical Medicine" submitted by the Medical Department was successfully approved.

The project's study abroad partners are the University of Burgundy and the University of Franche-Comté in France, with an implementation period from 2025 to 2027. During this period, each year, 4 joint training doctoral students and 1 visiting scholar will be selected to go to France for joint training and academic studies, with full funding provided. The total funding amount reaches over 3.5 million yuan. The establishment of the project will continue to deepen domestic and international cooperation, strengthen the construction of first-class disciplines, and cultivate innovative, scarce, and composite international talents. The project application went through multiple stages, including team application, training unit review, school evaluation and recommendation, and fund committee review, and was finally approved after a successful defense, demonstrating the international level and strength of our university's graduate education.

In the future, the Medical Department will continue to focus on the management and service of high-level innovative talent international cooperation training projects, encourage more students to study abroad, and strive to cultivate high-quality talents with international vision and competitiveness, providing strong support for the accelerated advancement of our university's "double first-class" construction and the implementation of Ningbo's "Medical Peak" plan.
